During covid, Chief and Council dispersed $80,000 for Covid in the form of cheques to members — $50,000 from ISC and $30,000 from other sources.

When COVID-19 hit, we had to be very careful, because one person with Covid could wipe out the community.

We put in a proposal to get a trailer, and we secured $171,000 in funding. As a result, we secured this trailer and it didn’t cost the band any money.

With help from donated beds and sheets from Silvertip, we furnished the new trailer from top to bottom to give visiting members a place to stay, and for members with Covid to be able to comfortably isolate.
