Before now, no renovations or repairs had been done to the band office for over 30 years. It was important for the office to be a professional setting for working and for visiting staff, as well as become an inviting place for community members.

As a result, the office is a good place to work in, and we’ve had a lot of good comments from different funding agents who note that it’s an inviting workplace.

In addition, we were successful in redoing our entire internet network through a $75,000 grant, so everything is stored in the internet cloud through “Total North.”

With funding that the band was already receiving to keep the office in order, we revamped the building with:

• New flooring

• New painting of the walls

• New staff room

• Board room

• New board room equipment

• New furniture

• New pots, pans, coffee maker
